The Kingma master bath started out with as a typical builders grade bathroom of the 1980’s with a small fiberglass shower, very basic cabinetry and sheet vinyl floor, after gutting back to framing a window was added in the exterior wall to allow for some natural light to enter the bathroom, a large walk in shower was framed and the tub was moved to a new location.

The cabinetry is stained maple with matching framed custom medicine cabinets and lots of extras special storage features including receptacles built into the medicine cabinets to allow for storage of items that need plugged in without having to remove them and plug them in or have chargers setting on counter top space, jewelry storage and organization, a hidden panel that allows for a lighted makeup mirror to swing out of sight when not in use and plenty of storage. The tile is an economical porcelain mixed with stone chair and pencil bordering mosaic accents to add depth and detail to all areas, heated tile floor is almost a must as the bathroom is on the second floor over the garage and the tile is cool in the winter months. The pocket door between the shower and tub area and the rest of the bathroom has glass in it to allow for natural light to continue into the main part of the bathroom, the marble counter top coordinates with stones in the mosaic accent and the shower floor.
