The Ikenberry master bath was another large bath where the very large soaking tub claimed a lot of space and was rarely used. The shower was small and there was two small sink areas with almost no storage in the bath except for closet space around the corner outside the main bath area. After removing the garden tub, cabinetry was added that included much more storage space and pull out clothes hampers.
This bathroom has a very clean modern look that is maintained by simple tile, quartz counter top surfaces, flat front stained maple cabinets, frosted glass and LVT tile flooring. The LVT tile floor is softer and not as cold as ceramic and porcelain but installed with grout still looks like standard tile. A large bench, grab bar and handheld shower head makes the shower usable for any situation and the handheld sure makes cleaning the shower a much easier job.
